מרצה בסמינר הקיבוצים וראש תכנית התיזה “טכנולוגיה בחינוך” בתואר השני; בעבר הייתה ראש תחום תקשוב בסמינר הקיבוצים ומרכזת הפורום של רכזי התקשוב במכון מופ”ת. היא פעילה בקבוצות מחקר בנושאי שונות תרבותית, והייתה שותפה בכתיבת ניירות עמדה בנושאי תקשוב בישראל, ובארצות הברית באוניברסיטה של טקסס ובמסגרת EduSummIT. יו”ר הכנס הבינלאומי IAIE 2021 ומזכ”ל הארגון מ2022. היא חוקרת וכותבת בנושאים הקשורים לשונות תרבותית, תקשוב, פדגוגיה, חדשנות, שיתופיות, הוראה מקוונת ועולמות וירטואלים. היא ערכה ספר בנושא למידה שיתופית בעולם גלובלי.

مديرة مركز TEC في معهد موفيت، مسؤولة عن برنامج الكلية المباشرة-أونلاين-كوليج في كلية سمينار هكيبوتسيم ومركزة التدريس في برنامج “تكنولوجيا في التربية” للقب الثاني. كانت ميري مديرة تقنية الاتصالات والمعلومات ومنسقة لمنتدى مُركزي الاتصالات. أنهت ميري اللقب الثاني في البيولوجيا واللقب الثالث بموضوع التكنولوجيا في التربية. وهي ناشطة كذلك في مجال التربية البيئية. وقد كانت ميري من بين أعضاء لجنة البرنامج في مؤتمرات بشأن دمج التكنولوجيا بالتربية وبشأن تعدد الثقافات في أجهزة التربية والتعليم في الدولة وفي العالم، إضافةً لذلك فهي أيضا ناشطة في مجموعات بحث تعنى ببحث التعددية الثقافية، التعاون، التدريس عبر الإنترنت والعوالم الإفتراضية. وقد كانت مشاركة أيضاً في كتابة المرسوم الرسمي بشأن تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة واليونيسكو.
Prof. Miri Shonfeld-Head of the TEC center
Professor Shonfeld is the head of the Technology, Education, and Cultural Diversity (TEC) Center at MOFET Institute. She is an associate professor at the graduate program in Technology in Education at Kibbutzim College of Education in Tel-Aviv. She was the head of ICT at Kibbutzim College of Education and forum coordinator of ICT managers. She was involved in writing national and international position papers. Her research deals with intercultural education, online learning environments, collaborative work, and faculty development. She edited a book about collaborative learning in a global world and wrote numerous articles about online learning, collaborative learning, virtual worlds and intercultural education. She received with co-founders of TEC the unity award in 2018 for the TEC center from the president of Israel and from the Ministry of education for the unique pedagogical initiative in 2013 and a prize for outstanding educational project for tolerance in 2010.
